Within a Breathwork Session, our objective is to connect to the power of the breath through calming, balancing, and/or exciting the nervous system. Let me guess... you've tried everything and nothing has seemed to be the ultimate cure? Well... let me tell you... Breathwork might just be your answer. The breath is the one thing we have control over in our physical body, not our heart beat, not our digestive process - the breath. It is the one system in our body that is both automatic and under our control. The breath is a direct link to the nervous system and with the use of Breathwork we can do three things: calm the nervous system, balance the nervous system, or excite the nervous system - all which help to release and heal. Within our Breathwork session we will begin with basic information on the breath - helping to inform you of what we will be diving into and registering your experience with Breathwork in the past. From there we will jump into Breath Awareness, recognizing what your breath naturally does on its own. This helps us to understand what is going on within our Internal World and where needs the most attention. From there, we will jump into simple warm-up breathing techniques and once acquainted with this, we will dive into our dominant breathing technique that we will work with during the major duration of the session. After we’ve finished up with this portion, we will dive into a debrief of what you were feeling and tuning into - a form of integrating your session. Breathwork is powerful and truly transformative. It is the bridge between body and mind. Learn how to control your breath and you can control your mind, becoming a Master of Self.
